This program also includes all mandatory objectives set forth in the Ministry of Transportation’s Commercial Truck Driver Training Standard (Class A), released July 2016. Subjects of the program include:
This program includes both classroom (16 hours) and practical training (6 hours). The hands-on training takes place in the yard and on the road using a D Class vehicle, while under the instruction of a qualified trainer.
Students will also engage in various classroom activities to help prepare for a career as a professional driver.
Must be 18 years of age or older, Must hold a Valid Ontario full Class G Licence.
Mandatory MTO Medical that meets the vision, hearing and medical requirements.
